Accessibility statement
1. Preamble
Blupura S.R.L., with registered office at Via Atlantico Volponi 11, Z.I. Squartabue, 62019 Recanati (MC), Italy, Tax Code 02362310423, VAT no. 02362310423 and REA-FO no. 189495, represented by its legal representative Dr. Gianni Grottini, PEC address blupura@legalmail.it ("BLUPURA S.R.L.") is committed to making its digital content accessible in compliance with current accessibility regulations, in particular Italian Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022 ("D. Lgs. 82/2022"), implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act – "EAA"). This accessibility statement applies to the sections of the website https://ecommerce.blupura.com covered by this regulation.
2. Compliance status
As of today, the website https://ecommerce.blupura.com/ is partially compliant with the technical and functional requirements set forth by current regulations, with particular reference to UNI CEI EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 – level AA (and WCAG 2.2 – level A).
The main non-conformities identified are the following:
| WCAG Criterion | Severity | Observations |
|---|---|---|
| 1.4.3. Text and images of text do not meet the minimum contrast ratios | High | Text must have a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 (or 3:1 for large-size text) against the background. Low contrast makes content difficult to read for users with visual impairments. High contrast ensures readability and accessibility for everyone. |
Downloadable PDF documents (e.g. product catalogues) are not fully accessible. In particular, they present issues related to:
- absence of semantic structure (tagging)
- lack of alternative text for images
- undefined reading order
- use of graphic content that cannot be interpreted by assistive technologies
These issues result in non-compliance with several WCAG 2.1 criteria, including 1.1.1, 1.3.1, 1.3.2 and 2.4.6.
The current non-conformities have been identified through automated analyses and manual checks carried out using accessibility verification tools.
In particular, for automated analyses, online tools were used such as: WAVE – Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool; Google Lighthouse (via Chrome DevTools); axe DevTools (Deque Systems); silktide; get-equo, webeyes.
Manual checks were carried out by human testers and concern, by way of example and not exhaustively, the presence and listening of audio and video, verification of the presence of any subtitles and/or audio descriptions, the clarity of informational instructions, verification that where text is present it is real text and not an image (and, in the case of an image, that it carries the corresponding text as "alt"), the rearrangement following "zoom in", variations of contrast and content on mouse hover, error suggestions, etc.
3. Technologies and measures currently adopted
During the technical analysis conducted on the main pages of the ecommerce.blupura.com website and its subdomains, several elements were identified that already comply with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements, demonstrating a partial level of accessibility already achieved. The compliant aspects currently identified are listed below:
- Hierarchical structure of headings (H1–H6) present and largely consistent in the institutional pages.
- Keyboard navigation guaranteed on basic static components (menus, text links, main buttons).
- Contact and newsletter forms accessible in basic fields, with good readability.
- Sufficient contrast for main headings and paragraphs on a white background.
- Basic compatibility with screen readers in static institutional pages.
